Supreme Home Services is a Certified Professional through BPI Building Performance InstituteThe Building Performance Institute is the nation's leading building science accreditation organization. The "house as a system" philosophy - which looks at a building's various components (building envelope, attic, basement, combustion equipment, ventilation sources) and the interrelationship between them to maximize a home's performance. This approach leads to greater energy efficiency, but perhaps more importantly to buildings that simply work better. A home that has been analyzed and upgraded from a whole-house standpoint is more durable, healthier, more comfortable, and more energy efficient. RESNET Certified HERS Rater

Supreme Home Services is a certified RESNET HERS RaterRESNET (Residential Energy Services Network), is the premier accreditation organization for home energy raters and home energy auditors in the country. With an emphasis on new construction, RESNET certified HERS Raters (HERS is short for Home Energy Rating System) to analyze each element of home that may contribute to energy waste or energy inefficiencies. During a HERS Rating, we analyze each of these components, as well as their relationship to one another, to assign the home a score from 1-100 on the HERS Index. (100 is bad, 0 is good.) HERS Ratings are a mandatory part of the certification process for many green building certifications including Energy Star and LEED.

National Environmental Health Association Certified Healthy Homes Specialist

Supreme Home Services is certified through the National Environmental Health AssociationThe NEHA, the National Center for Healthy Housing (NCHH), and the National Healthy Homes Training Center and Network (Training Center) have partnered to offer a Healthy Homes Specialist credential.  This credential is designed to enable health and housing professionals to go into homes to label and address environmental hazards that could impact the health of the occupants. NEHA is the leading national environmental health organization providing resources and credentialing capabilities.

Missouri Department of Natural Resources, Certified Energy Auditor

Missouri Department of Natural ResourcesMissouri taxpayers could claim an individual tax deduction for the cost of a Home Energy Audit and the cost of implementing energy efficiency recommendations contained in an energy audit. The tax deductions end December 31, 2013. The maximum deduction is $1,000 dollars per year or $2,000 cumulatively for multiple years. The audit must be performed by an energy auditor certified by the Missouri Department of Natural Resources.  Supreme Home Services was a certified energy auditor for this program.
